don't let fear rule your life

hey -

i recently started reading the 4-hour workweek by timothy ferriss

the book teaches how to work smarter, not harder.

how there’s a difference between being productive and being busy

how retirement shouldn’t be the goal

and also….

inaction is the greatest risk you can put upon yourself.

by refusing to not take risks on the things you want to pursue in life, you are ironically taking a risk by not taking a chance on yourself.

we all know how fast time can fly by. we could blink a couple of more times and we’ll already be in our twenties, wondering we’re doing with ourselves.

ferriss defines risk as the likelihood of an irreversible negative outcome.

we’re scared of the risks. we’re scared because we may lose it all. we’re scared because of what people may think of us. we’re scared of this. we’re scared of that. it’s all fear.

i’ll put it like this:

nothing can be gained by doing nothing

everything can be gained by doing everything.

nobody said you have to start big, just start, and don’t ever stop.

“without fear, there’s no bravery” - dustin poirier

see you then.
