not quitting = progress

use the floaties if you can't swim

hey -

i put a lot of pressure on myself to make the most out of my day and oftentimes i feel like a failure because i feel as though i’ve wasted it.

sometimes i put off the errand for another time.

sometimes i skip the gym.

it’s hard when you aren’t feeling the best, and every responsibility tends to drain every bit of energy out of you.

it’s normal. it’s cool. it’s okay.

contrary to popular belief, sometimes it’s better to take the easy route rather than not taking any route at all.

if i can’t sit still and meditate for 5 minutes, i’ll do it for 2.

if i can’t be bothered to cook a full meal, i’ll take a cup of yogurt.

there’s no shame in taking the easy route every now and then, i mean it.

because the ultimate failure would be to give up altogether.

and none of us can afford to do that.

so if not giving up on ourselves means doing the bare minimum, then let’s do the bare fucking minimum.

let me make it clear:

no progress is no progress. but little progress is progress.

so don’t quit, no matter how little effort you can put on the table.

alex hormozi talked about this idea of winning by trying, not by winning.

you try by not quitting, so as long as you don’t quit, you’re going to win.

win what? that’s for you to decide.

don’t complicate the process by feeling as though you need to bust your ass every time to feel accomplished. just put something on the board. anything.

if you did something that got you 1% or even 0.01% closer to where you want to be, it’s a good day’s work.

so long as you’re still here and trying, you’re doing great.

don’t let nobody tell you otherwise.

see you then.
